Reading

Let’s discuss story genres folktales and fables by creating a chart. Parents remind your child that a folktale is a story originating in popular culture, typically passed on by word of mouth and a fable is a short story, typically with animals as characters, conveying a moral. You are going to read a story about a fox who likes to play tricks. There are several stories we have read that tell about animals that play tricks. Draw the chart and fill in the one who played tricks in that story.
