WE ARE AT THE END OF CHAPTER 12, PAYING FOR GOVERNMENT

DID YOU KNOW:  YOU MAY THINK THAT YOU PERSONALLY DON’T PAY TAXES BECAUSE YOU ARE STILL A YOUNG STUDENT WITHOUT A JOB, BUT YOU DO!  EVERY TIME YOU BUY SOMETHING, EVEN AS INEXPENSIVE AS A DRINK, YOU PAY A TAX ON IT.  MAYBE IT IS ONLY A FEW CENTS, BUT THOSE FEW CENTS ADD UP FOR YOU, THINK OF ALL THE THINGS YOU BUY;  AND, THINK OF HOW IT ADDS UP FOR THE GOVERNMENT;  THINK OF ALL THE PEOPLE WHO BUY ALL THOSE DRINKS.

TODAY’S ASSIGNMENT

TODAY, YOU ARE COMPLETING THE STUDY GUIDE FOR CHAPTER 12 IN PREPARATION FOR THE TEST.  IF YOU CANNOT PRINT IT, ANSWERS MUST BE WRITTEN IN COMPLETE SENTENCES.  COMPLETE SENTENCES, NO LETTERS!
