TODAY, WE BEGIN OUR NEW STORY SELECTION, RED WRITING HOOD.  IT IS A PLAY.  FIRST, READ PAGES 454 AND 455.  THEN, DEFINE THE VOCABULARY WORDS ON 454.  USE THE GLOSSARY IN THE BACK OF THE BOOK.  NEXT, WRITE A PARAGRAPH OF COMPLETE SENTENCES TELLING WHY YOU THINK THE PLAY IS CALLED RED WRITING HOOD RATHER THAN RED RIDING HOOD, THE FAIRY TALE WE ALL KNOW.  THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG ANSWER FOR YOUR PARAGRAPH.  TRY TO MAKE A GOOD GUESS.
