WE HAVE SPENT THIS MARKING PERIOD STUDYING CHAPTER 1, HOW GEOGRAPHERS LOOK AT THE WORLD, IN OUR TEXTBOOK.  WE LEARNED ABOUT THE GEOGRAPHER AND THE CARTOGRAPHER.  WE HAVE ALSO ENHANCED OUR MAP SKILLS AND OUR GRAPHING SKILLS.

YOUR EXAM CONSISTS OF TEN SHORT ESSAY QUESTIONS AND INDIVIDUAL ORAL OBJECTIVE ANSWERS ASKED IN CLASS.

THESE FIVE (5) QUESTIONS ARE THE FIRST PART OF YOUR MARKING PERIOD EXAM.  IN CLASS TODAY YOU WILL BE ASKED THE INDIVIDUAL OBJECTIVE QUESTIONS THAT ARE ALSO PART OF THE EXAM. TOMORROW, YOU WILL ANSWER FIVE (5) MORE QUESTIONS.

EACH OF THE FIVE (5) WRITTEN QUESTIONS TODAY MUST BE ANSWERED IN 5 TO 7 GOOD COMPLETE SENTENCES.  BE SURE TO HAVE A COMPLETE FLP HEADING.

WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON CHAPTER 1 IN THE TEXTBOOK, BEGINNINGS OF AMERICAN GOVERNMENT.  AS PART OF OUR SOCIAL STUDIES EXPERIENCE. WE HAVE ALSO ENHANCED OUR MAP SKILLS.

ALTHOUGH THE CLASS IN DIVIDED INTO TWO GROUPS, THE SENATE 100 AND THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES 435, FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS EXAM, THE WHOLE CLASS WILL ANSWER THE SAME QUESTIONS.

YOUR MARKING PERIOD EXAM IS TEN (10) SHORT ESSAY QUESTIONS, EACH FROM 5 TO 7 SENTENCES LONG,  AND INDIVIDUAL ORAL OBJECTIVE QUESTIONS ASKED IN CLASS.
