DID YOU KNOW?  ANCIENT ATHENIANS (PEOPLE FROM ATHENS, GREECE) VOTED ANNUALLY ON WHETHER OR NOT TO BANISH A LEADER.  IF CONVICTED, THE OFFICIAL WAS REQUIRED TO LEAVE ATHENS FOR 10 YEARS. THIS WAS THEIR SYSTEM FOR REMOVING GOVERNMENT LEADERS FROM OFFICE AND WAS CALLED “OSTRACISM.”  INTERESTING?????????
