Parents watch this video Read Aloud on For Pete’s Sake and then in your compositions book, draw and label the story book cover. Be sure to include on the cover: title, author, illustrator, and genre (what kind of story).

Math

In your composition book, write, answer, and show ALL work for the Members of the Sticker Club activity. Members of the Sticker Club gave away some of their stickers. Each subtraction problem shows how many stickers a member had and how many stickers the member gave away. Estimate to solve the equation sentences and draw lines to match with the clue of the club member.

Read Elements of Nonfiction in textbook on pg. 152 and Copy Elements of Nonfiction Chart in textbook on pg. 152 in your composition book. Then, circle the type of Nonfiction you would like to learn more about and create a nonfiction writing piece for.

Read and  Count Bills and Coins in textbook on pg. 110 and 111. Do problems numbers 1 – 21 in textbook on pgs. 111 – 112. Write questions, answers, and show ALL work in composition book.

Science

Read Science Through Time: Discovering Dinosaurs in textbook on pgs. C24 – C25. In your composition book write and answer Think About It in textbook on pg. C25.
