Parents watch this video Things I Learned in Second Grade with your child and then in your composition book write in paragraph form what the moral of the story is and what you think the authors purpose for this story is. Be sure to include details from the story that supports your ideas.

Parents watch this video Math Antics Basic Division with your child. Write the examples and notes as you follow along from the video in complete sentences in your composition book. So, as they write and work through the problems copy it in your composition book.
Science
Lets design our own toy using a solid, liquid, and gas. Write, draw, and label a toy designed by you in your composition book. Write to explain how your toy works and what you can do to upgrade the model. Also be sure to include a materials list and parents get in there and inspire your child to design something cool!
