Period 1 General English- Interactive Reader (orange).  Finish Literary Analysis if not completed and complete Building Vocabulary SkillBuilder on page 238.

Period 4 MS A/B English-  Interactive Reader (red).  Do Vocabulary Words to Know at the bottom of the biography, Eleanor Roosevelt.  Write the word, the part of speech, definition and write a sentence using the vocabulary word.

Period 5 MS D English- McGraw-Hill Language Arts textbook. Main Verbs and Helping Verbs.  Read the rules in the box at the top to understand  main verbs and helping verbs.  Then complete the Guided Practice on page 172 1-5.  Write the sentences out. Then name the main verb and the helping verb in each verb phrase.

Period 6 Basic English- In the poem, Speech to the Young, Speech to the Progress-Toward, the speaker mentions down-keepers, sun-slappers, self-soilers and harmony-hushers.  Explain what you think each phrase means in your own words.  Use context clues in the poem to help you figure out the figurative language.

Period 7 Elementary Language Arts (Bobcats and Tigers)-

Combining Sentences: Compound Subjects. Complete Guided Practice on page 20 1-5.  First write the sentences out.  Then in each sentence pair, name the simple subjects.  Then name a conjunction you could use to join them.
