Title: Turbidity and Temperature.
Objective: To describe the effect of turbidity on water temperature.
Hypothesis (Write the Hypothesis as it is written here)
- If water becomes turbid, then it’s temperature will increase.
- The more turbid the water is the hotter the temperature will get.

Procedure (Write the procedure)
Results
- Organize the results in a table. Refer to the Homework Posting from Friday, May 6th to get the temperature measurements after 2 hours.
Conclusion
- Provide an explanation for the results you obtained.
- Discuss whether your results support the Hypothesis provided above (Groups 2 and 4)
- If your results do not support the hypothesis (Groups 1 and 3) provide a possible explanation as to why? (Group 1 – shade of the tree; Group 3 – placement of the cups)

Objective :
- To measure the diversity of a specific area.
- To identify the relationships among organisms.
Hypothesis (answer the following question to state your hypithesis)
- Do you expect your area to have high biodiversity? Why or Why not?

- Organize the results in a table.
- You must include in the table all the different types of organisms you observed, the count you got for each of those organisms and a sketch or description of what the organism looks like.

- Provide an explanation for the results you obtained.
- Discuss whether your results support your hypothesis of high or low biodiversity.
- If your results do not support the hypothesis provide a possible explanation as to why? (Ex. Human activity in or near your site)
