This year in art class our focal points will be on different genres of art, professional art careers, and geographical, cultural, and historical points of interest of the artists. We will recreate inspiring works of art to beautify our school and homes. Students will also develop aesthetic awareness, skills and knowledge to create and perform in the arts, and to analyze, describe, and evaluate works of art while demonstrating craftsmanship.

Art activities will include special projects based on: Hispanic Heritage Month, Labor Day, Grandparents Day, National Guacamole Day, FLP Back2School night – book buddies activity, First Day of Autumn, Space, National Love Note Day and much more….
